Track lead progress with Lead statuses

Mastering lead statuses helps you manage and monitor leads more effectively. This improves your communication and boosts campaign performance. Each status tracks the lead journey, from data enrichment to marking them as interested or unsubscribed.

You can find each status in the “Leads” section of your campaign.

Enriching: the lead is undergoing a data enhancement process. lemlist gathers information like email addresses, job titles, and social media handles. This helps you approach leads with more precision.

To Launch: the lead is ready for review before entering the campaign flow. Use this stage to ensure the lead is properly qualified before starting engagement.

Skipped: the lead was excluded from the campaign, either because they don’t meet criteria or aren’t a fit at the moment. Skipped leads are on hold for future opportunities or exclusion.

Paused: the lead’s progress is on hold, either manually or through an automated process. The lead remains in the campaign but won’t proceed until resumed.

Ready to Send: the lead has completed review and is part of the campaign, but hasn’t started outreach yet. The lead is queued for the first action.

In Progress: the lead has received the first campaign step, such as an email or LinkedIn interaction. The lead is now actively moving through your campaign.

Sent: a campaign step, like an email or LinkedIn message, was successfully sent to the lead. This confirms the lead has started interacting with your campaign.

Opened: the lead has opened one of your emails. This indicates initial interest and engagement.

Clicked: the lead clicked on a link in your email or accepted a LinkedIn connection request. This shows a higher level of engagement.

Replied: the lead responded to an email or LinkedIn message, opening the door for further communication.

Bounced: an email wasn’t delivered, often due to an invalid email address. You can check the activity log for more details.

Failed: the email or LinkedIn action didn’t go through, usually due to an incorrect email or the lead not being a LinkedIn connection.

Completed: the lead has finished all campaign steps or was marked as completed due to a bounce, failure, or interest status.

Interested: the lead has been marked as a potential opportunity based on their engagement.

Not Interested: the lead is no longer considered viable for your campaign.

Unsubscribe: the lead opted out of receiving further communication, either manually or through an automatic process.
